Caitriona has been organizing and offering Yoga Weekends for several years. Caitriona’s idea of a great yoga weekend is one that is nourishing, relaxing and fun with like-minded beings. Caitriona loves to give her students the opportunity to take a deep dive into self-care, always in a beautiful natural setting. Caitriona weaves a blend of her magical offerings including yoga, meditation, breath-work, yoga nidra, relaxation and sound healing into her events..

Weekend Retreat - Mulvarra House Carlow 24-26th May 2024

I really hope you will join me for this amazing chilled weekend in the most stunning location where we will enjoy deeply powerful practices, time in nature, delicious nourishing food and connections with our fellow gorgeous yogis. We will enjoy breath-work, embodied yoga and somatics, meditation, a sound-bath, yoga nidra relaxation and free time.  If the sound of this weekend retreat is making your heart and soul sing, please get in touch to book your place. 

Our retreat centre Mulvarra House

This bespoke retreat centre is surrounded by trees perched above the River Barrow (we will be able to swim here for those of you who love to swim) and we are in the most spectacular location. St Mullins is a beautifully picturesque village on the Barrow Way walking trail close to Graigeunamanagh, just perfect for spending time outdoors enjoying the natural landscape. 

The centre is run by Yogis Linda and Tim and they are really big on providing an intimate retreat experience in a fantastic location, they have a dedicated Yoga space where we will enjoy our practices of Yoga, Meditation, Yoga Nidra and Sound Healing. All of the food will be freshly made on site by our amazing and talented chef Linda

Our Practices


The practices I will be offering will be centred around you being deeply nourished, rested and energised. We will do this through yoga nidra designed to reset your whole being, embodied yoga and somatic movement, meditation, accessible breath-work and sound healing. Our typical weekends usually involves a longer session in the morning and then free time plus a gathering in the evening with our group. We have a gorgeous outdoor space too, so the fire pit will most definitely be part of our weekend. And we even have a full moon to bathe under.

Accommodation

There are no single rooms available. There is one triple room and the rest are twin.  All rooms are very comfortable and clean.

All rooms are en suite and based on two people sharing.

If you wish to come with a friend or a group please specify the number of people and the name of each attendee in your booking and I will do my best to accommodate.

Menu: All meals included, home-made and vegetarian (typically: breakfast/brunch, light lunch, dinner, snacks, fruit) - dietary requirements are catered for.

You will be very well looked after over the weekend with everything from fresh juices and beautiful brunches to healthy treats and delicious dinners.

Arrive Friday 5pm - Depart Sunday Lunchtime

Cost per person  €485 (with balcony) / €475 (without balcony). 

A non-refundable deposit of €150 is required to hold your place. Spaces are limited to 12 people.

The format was just just right. The length of the classes were perfect and there was a nice mix between the various types of yoga and the meditation.  The sound bath was a highlight for me. Also I loved the outdoor activities. I really enjoyed the circles in the field and on the beach. Amazing. The amount of free time was just about right.  It was a lovely calm environment. Very relaxing. Just a beautiful relaxed space both inside and outside.  

The food was delicious, no room for improvement. As you can see, I have only good memories and I feel inspired to keep up my yoga and meditation at home. Looking forward to hopefully taking part in another weekend. I'll be the first to book.
